Naming Her Odyssey
Naming my camper trailer Odyssey just felt right. Think about it—what better name for a home on wheels than something that embodies adventure, exploration, and epic journeys? The word "odyssey" isn’t just about travelling; it’s about the stories, the discoveries, and the unexpected moments that make the trip unforgettable.
Every time I hit the road with Odyssey, it feels like opening a new chapter in a never-ending book of adventures. A Retro Camper for a Modern Journey
The History of ACT Camper Trailers
ACT, or Australian Camper Trailers, was a company that emerged in the 1970s, known for producing lightweight, fibreglass pop-top camper trailers.
Their trailers became a beloved choice for Australian families and adventure seekers due to their durability, practical design, and ease of use.
Among the various models like the Consort, Hobo, and Cruiser, the ACT Cruiser stood out for its spacious interior and functional layout, providing essential comforts while exploring the great outdoors.
My very own ACT Cruiser, who I've named Odyssey, is part of this legacy.
